The City of Cape Coral will hold its first of two public budget hearings this Thursday at 5:05PM. The public hearing will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Cape Coral City Hall.
The first budget hearing is where the most impact can be made by residents. If changes are to be made to the budget they usually take place between the two public hearings. The City is not proposing a millage rate increase for fiscal year 2026 that begins on October 1st.
The second public hearing will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at 5:05 p.m where the final millage rate will be set and the budget voted on.
