What is Cape Coral Talk Radio?

Kim and Ed launched Cape Coral Talk Radio after meeting with about 100 Cape Coral residents who’ve been following our first brand called Beach Talk Radio on Fort Myers Beach which we launched in 2018. The feedback we received was that something similar was needed in Cape Coral with the projected growth of the City, all the news taking place, and the lack of super targeted local news coverage. We started watching and sitting in on Town Council meetings, joined the Chamber of Commerce and attended events. We reached out to Town Council members and the Mayor, invited them to come on the show, and launched on September 5, 2025 at Hooked Island Grill.

Our show is one hour in length and includes local elected officials, event organizers, business owners and others we consider to be interesting. The goal of the show is to be informational and entertaining. We push out accurate information about Cape Coral and provide a little fun while doing that. Cape Coral Talk Radio is more than a one-hour interview show. We have a news website, a Facebook page, an Instagram page, a YouTube Channel and a free weekly newsletter. Cape Coral Talk Radio is a for-profit business. What we’ve created here from scratch has become our full-time job. We accept advertising from local businesses and “donations” from followers who see the value in what we provide to them about their community and don’t mind paying a few dollars every month to support us.
