LadyCakes Bakery owner Bess Charles is set to release her second children’s book, The Adventures of LadyCakes: The Courage of Cookie Dough with a pre-sale celecration tomorrow from 10AM to 2PM.
This new book is a follow-up to Charles’ 2019 debut, The Adventures of LadyCakes: Kindness is Sweet, continues her mission of blending life lessons with sweetness and creativity.
The story introduces young readers to Cookie Dough, a shy blob of cookie dough who learns that being different is what makes him truly special. With encouragement from LadyCakes, Cookie Dough discovers the courage to embrace who he is in a world filled with sprinkles, frosting, and fun.
“This book is about celebrating uniqueness and teaching children that courage comes from being yourself,” said Charles. “It’s a message I believe we all need—especially our youngest readers.”
During tomorrow’s pre-sale event enjoy a family-friendly day with a face painter, fun giveaways, prizes, a chance to meet Cookie Dough, and the opportunity to purchase your very own copy of the book.
