The German-American Club will celebrate 40 years of Oktoberfest over the next two weekends. The festivities begin at 4PM this afternoon with German food, beer, music and plenty of dancing.
The event includes a huge outdoor tent behind the German-American Club building that will include a biergarten, 3 stages, 2 dance floors, non-stop bands, and plenty of German Music.
There will also be a carnival area for kids featuring rides and games, hand made crafts by ladies from the Club, souvenirs, beer steins, t-shirts, hats, pins and more. Vendors and exhibitors will also be set up.
A little side note to the event. The most kegs the event has gone through from previous events has been 800.
